AbleMaxx International Workshop - it's a wrap!

3 events in 1 day! How do event planners do it year round?! In December 2025 we celebrated a full day with our international DMCs, venues and destinations.

Our corporate lunch at Wembley Stadium was a full house in Pitch View East, with key note speaker Amrita Bhalla, GPHR, discussing "The Impact of AI in Events and Hospitality". Thanks to Stuart Gavin and his team for their co-operation and continued support with Destination Wembley.


Chris Bason kicked off the agency workshop at The Drum Wembley and Maria Bocharova for sharing her story and introducing our charity partner Smart Works Charity. We so appreciate your generosity for all the donations which Maria and I took to Smart Works Reading on Friday – they send their sincere gratitude 🙏


Aimilia Vasilikou, your team at The Drum is amazing! Our afternoon workshop was followed by a Gala dinner and Grand Finale raffle at The Stadium. Time to let our hair down with the Singing Waiters, dance, sing and be merry….and they did not disappoint. Ella-Louise Woodhouse and Ellevate Entertainment Ltd. you never disappoint, they were every bit of fun you promised, thank you for the recommendation 😀

Thank you so much for such a great afternoon and evening yesterday. I really enjoyed the afternoon; the keynote speaker was brilliant and so informative – and the topic just perfect! The afternoon speed-dating was really good, despite a bit of a race to get round the last few (totally my fault as I spent too long with some of them!), and then the wonderful hospitality of Wembley – food, service and ofcourse the entertainment was superb! I haven’t done the conga around a meeting room for a long time 😉! So thank you all for all your hard work putting on such a great event.  The AbleMaxx Limited International Workshop at The Drum was a masterclass in creative event formatting. Instead of standard meetings, we were given "DMC Passports" 🛂, challenging us to visit incredible Global DMC Partners across the room to collect stamps. It was such an engaging, hands-on way to connect with destinations and see the possibilities for future events for our clients: maximum efficiency meets serious creativity. ✨

It was a great event on Thursday and Amrita was an engaging guest speaker. Also, so glad that SmartWorks received the clothes well. What a beautiful and successful event, I think everyone loved it ! 

Especiality of the entertainment, the choice of the venue, and the speaker I think it's always nice to have a bit of learning.

For the workshop - it's Always quite short, to introduce the destinations and speak about their needs during the game of networking, but the good thing its at least you speak with everyone and even if it's 2min.
